About The Position

The Retail Parts Stockperson receives and verifies incoming orders and ensures that parts are stocked and recorded according to dealership standards. The role supports parts sales and department operations by preparing orders, organizing inventory, maintaining records and storage areas, and assisting with equipment and department upkeep.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet the company's requirements for employment.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a dealership position.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use a parts department computer system and calculator.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify orders and quantities.
• Fill “will call” orders.
• Pick parts for counter salespeople.
• Maintain receiving and shipping records.
• Break out and organize shipments for stocking.
• Assist with stocking parts.
• Assist with maintaining bins and equipment.
• Assist with arranging the department, including moving bins as needed.
• Supervise returned parts and maintain a separate storage area for them.
• Keep bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled.
