About The Position

Kelley Buick GMC is seeking a Parts Stocker/Picker to join their Parts Department. This role is responsible for various tasks including stocking parts, picking parts for external shops and internal technicians, restocking fast-moving items, managing warranty parts, assisting with parts returns, and maintaining the cleanliness of the parts department. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or the equivalent.
Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
One year of sales experience.
Professional personal appearance.
Able to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time.
Required to wear a dealership-provided uniform.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Stock all parts in proper locations.
Operate a pallet jack or hand truck to move or hoist parts from shipping/receiving and out to service areas in a safe manner.
Re-stock customer returns to their designated locations.
Pick customer orders accurately and organize the parts in the shipping bins.
Pick orders for the service department, and deliver to the technicians.
Restocking shelves of fast-moving parts.
Assisting receiving clerk when needed.
Putting warranty parts in proper area.
Empty waste cans, sweep, clean, and cut down cardboard for disposal.
Any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
