About The Position

The Parts Specialist, Power Systems role involves scanning incoming freight, performing order picking duties, completing daily paperwork, looking up part numbers and locations in a computer system, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This position requires previous warehouse experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to operate standard forklifts and manual pallet jacks safely. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong time management, planning, and organizational skills, a commitment to detail, and excellent customer service and communication abilities. Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook is required. The role also necessitates adherence to safety rules, the ability to perform general math calculations, lift up to 75 lbs with minimal supervision, and perform basic range of motion movements including climbing ladders and stairs, squatting, bending, and twisting. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory. The position works in a warehouse environment with some outside exposure and may require answering phones, operating a computer for parts lookups or emails, and occasional local travel for parts delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to operate a standard forklift, manual pallet jack and other lift trucks in a safe but timely manner.
  • Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail.
  • Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the warehouse.
  • Must be able to handle general math calculations on money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. and work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic range of motion movements are needed such as: climb ladders, stairs, climbing on and off lift trucks, squatting, bending and twisting.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
