About The Position
Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is now accepting applications from those interested in a Parts Shuttle Driver position which runs between Mount Vernon, Lynnwood, and Pacific, WA. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be insurable
- Clean driving record
- Non-CDL medical card
- Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups and a 24’ box truck.
- Experience driving a manual transmission
- Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard
- Ability to send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Providing efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route.
- Safe and efficient delivery and pick up of parts to and from GTC store locations.
- Deliver parts to multiple locations from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
- Adhering to company safe driving policies at all times.
- Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
- Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
- Strengthen internal/external relationships with prompt and professional service.
- Provide communication to parts department on internal/external customer needs and returns.
- Help in warehouse as time allows, operate a fork-lift daily, operate pallet jack daily
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation, loading, unloading
- Daily DVIR reports for vehicle
- Keep tight schedule with open communication to multiple locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
