About The Position

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is seeking a Parts Shuttle Driver to operate between Mount Vernon, Lynnwood, and Pacific, WA. GTC has been serving customer transportation needs since 1986 and is a network of 19 dealerships specializing in medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks. As a full-service dealership family for Freightliner, Western Star, and Wilson Trailer, GTC offers sales, financing, insurance, and servicing. Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be insurable with a clean driving record.
• Must possess a non-CDL medical card.
• Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups, and a 24’ box truck.
• Experience driving a manual transmission.
• Ability to type and use a computer tablet and/or keyboard.
• Ability to send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route.
• Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up parts to and from GTC store locations.
• Deliver parts from the vehicle to designated areas, using assigned devices like tablets and/or smartphones.
• Adhere to company safe driving policies at all times.
• Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily deliveries using tablets and/or computer keyboard.
• Strengthen internal/external relationships through prompt and professional service.
• Communicate internal/external customer needs and returns to the parts department.
• Assist in the warehouse as time allows.
• Operate a forklift daily.
• Operate a pallet jack daily.
• Complete daily DVIR reports for the vehicle.
• Maintain a tight schedule with open communication to multiple locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
