About The Position

Honda World Parts Department is looking for an inventory control manager/ shipping & receiving clerk to help support our booming parts business and to provide our customers with exceptional experiences. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to use parts department computer system
Good communication skills
Ability to operate a fork lift truck is a plus
Must be have a clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen
Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented
Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision
Basic computer knowledge
Must be comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a fork lift truck is a plus

Responsibilities

Receive & send shipments, verify information against invoices, orders and other records
Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
Maintain receiving and shipping records, as well as returned parts records
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
