About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Wilsonville is hiring a Parts Shipping & Receiving Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the automotive industry and build a long-term career, with no dealership experience required. This full-time role is the foundation of the parts and service operation, ensuring technicians have the necessary parts to complete repairs efficiently and keep customers on the road. The position involves shipping, receiving, and internal parts coordination within a fast-paced, hands-on environment, directly impacting technician productivity and customer satisfaction. It is considered a starting point within the dealership, with successful employees often advancing into roles such as Parts Counter / Parts Specialist, Service Advisor, Inventory or operations leadership, or other positions across the Swickard organization. The company provides training, structure, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience
• Automotive experience

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify daily parts shipments
• Inspect parts for accuracy and damage
• Stock inventory in organized warehouse locations
• Process returns, cores, and warranty parts
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized shelving
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory tracking
• Ensure parts are ready and available for technicians
• Transfer parts between multiple workshops to keep repairs moving
• Coordinate urgent parts movement to avoid delays
• Occasionally deliver parts to local wholesale customers
