About The Position
Capital Chevrolet Buick GMC Calgary is seeking a professional individual for a Permanent Full-time position as a Parts Shipper & Receiver. This role involves working with Automotive Parts and Accessories, interacting with customers and vendors, and a passion for the automotive industry. The Parts Shipper & Receiver verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is hard-working, passionate, and determined.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Customer service skills, and ability to be a team player
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Verify information against invoices, orders and other records
- Determine method of shipment
- Restocking Shelves
- Maintaining Inventory
- Maintaining the Warranty Parts
- Occasionally delivery of parts
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments and correspond with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Ensure that outgoing shipments meet specifications
- Ensuring back stock room is clean and dust free
- Maintain a clear and thorough record of all shipments
