Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience repairing trucks and trailers.
  • Previous experience running a repair facility, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of basic credit and collections processes.
  • A true self-starter who takes initiative and drives results.
  • Ability to work well with others and foster collaboration.
  • Skilled at handling multiple projects and deadlines with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette that represents the company professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with national account service programs, turnaround standards, and established customer requirements.
  • Coordinate daily service schedules, communicate priorities, and partner with technicians to ensure repair scope, quoted hours, and customer expectations are understood.
  • Review work orders for labour, materials, and accuracy; support service quoting and verify completed work meets established quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication and reporting with internal and external customers regarding service status, scheduling, and requirements.
  • Oversee efficient parts ordering, processing, shipping, and coordination between Parts and Service.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce excess and obsolete stock, manage NCR returns and credits, and support annual physical inventory.
  • Utilize JDE to monitor inventory usage and support effective planning, reporting, and inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support A/R, A/P, billing, and departmental financial processes.
  • Train and develop team members, establish clear responsibilities, and promote collaboration between Parts and Service.
  • Ensure compliance with company and OSHA requirements, conduct required safety meetings and training and maintain established 5S standards.
  • Support capital requests, maintain Parts & Service area security, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Tackle other assigned tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism.
