About The Position

The Service Center Manager will lead the facility with energy and precision, ensuring teams are safe, processes are lean, and numbers are strong. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including prior people management experience
  • Strong financial acumen, a solid grasp of price, cost, and margin relationships, with the business knowledge to manage facility P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
  • A confident, effective communicator with logical, organized verbal and written skills and strong interpersonal ability across employee relations

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered)

Responsibilities

  • Drive a safe working environment for all employees, ensure full compliance with OGEP and corporate safety programs, and partner closely with local Safety Coordinators to meet facility safety goals and mandates.
  • Serve as the driver for Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kanban, Visual Factory, inventory control), building a culture where process improvement is everyone's responsibility.
  • Oversee and control materials, inventory, labor/overtime, and supply costs to keep the facility running lean and profitable.
  • Understand, set, meet, and exceed yearly sales goals and budgets, profit margins, inventory turns, product needs, and production planning.
  • Achieve best-in-market lead times, quality control, and OTIF/CSI performance benchmarks.
