About The Position

Four Star Freightliner is seeking a Parts & Service Account Manager to join their team in Montgomery, AL. As a leading heavy and medium-duty truck dealer in the Southeast, Four Star Freightliner offers a comprehensive line of Freightliner and Western Star trucks. The Parts & Service Account Manager will represent Four Star Freightliner in Parts and Service, focusing on increasing revenue by engaging with existing customers, identifying and contacting potential new customers, and collaborating with Parts and Service Department managers. This role also involves recruiting customers for the Excelerator program and providing necessary training. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues is essential to support customers and the Parts, Service, and Sales departments. The Account Manager will also assist and support the Customer Experience Advocate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the Parts and Service Departments.
  • Assist / demonstrate to customers how to purchase parts by explaining the value-added features, benefits, and warranty of merchandise.
  • Inform customers of companion part requirements, full product lines, and product offerings.
  • Provide training to customers for Excelerator and Service Tracker, as needed.
  • Coordinate with Parts & Service managers and front-line employees to provide quotes and other information to customers via email, phone and in person.
  • Process payments and obtain credit authorization, as necessary.
  • Manage and maintain customer accounts as assigned by manager.
  • Solicit and prospect for new customers by means such as cold calling.
  • Build relationships with customers in order to better meet their needs.
