About The Position

ACP, Inc. has an opportunity for a warehouse Service Parts Associate to prepare, assemble, and package service parts and component orders for shipment. Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. ACP designs and manufactures commercial high-speed and microwave ovens used in some of your favorite restaurants! Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong work history.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic keyboarding/computer skills in order to operate shipping system, as well as basic inventory knowledge.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting is required, up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pick/pack/ship and assembly experience desired.
  • Fork truck trained or certified, or ability and willingness to learn and be trained on forklift equipment including picker equipment.
  • Previous training or experience reading/interpreting blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assemble and package service parts and component orders for shipment.
  • Perform return authorization (RA) activities, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Operate power tools and equipment to assemble parts per instructions.
  • Prepare and package components, parts and/or material for shipment.
  • Prepare and apply address labels to packages, cartons, or crates.
  • Operate material handling and fork truck equipment including picker, to transport various materials and parts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and parts locations.
  • Hi-pot testing of service parts.
  • Use computer to process transactions into inventory management system.
  • Communicate both via phone and email with internal/external customers.
