About The Position

Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an opportunity for a Parts Counter Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Parts Counter Sales Associate will offer the region our comprehensive sales and service network supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators; offering our services to the largest on-highway heavy duty parts network in New England. Requirements

Must Have Valid State Driver License
Clean Driving Record
Understanding of the Automotive or Heavy Duty-Truck industry
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand, walk and climb
Strong time management and organizational skills
Able to to maintain sitting positions throughout the work day
Frequent moving of equipment and lifting of parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Parts Experience needed - Heavy Duty Experience preferred
Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

Handle incoming parts requests for both retail customers as well as technicians
Promptly and professionally greet customers in person and over the phone
Ensure accurate and appropriate inventory and billing controls through transactions
Provide customers with accurate parts lookup and recommendations based on their described needs
Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times
