About The Position

The Parts Sales Representative performs in-store customer service, marketing, promotional, advertising, and stocking duties related to receiving, selling, and delivering parts and accessories. This is a safety-sensitive position located in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The role includes maintaining department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, as well as completing routine housekeeping and other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Parts Department operations or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to use standard computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), and internet functions.
• Good customer relations skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Good driving record.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Record sales and/or counter transactions.
• Supply Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verify the receipt of shipments and help place Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
• Participate in job-related training and development.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain the condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
