About The Position

Manages all third-party vendor activity and associated business, including identifying and building partnerships with vendors whose offerings, service level, and performance best fit Subaru's business strategy. This role is responsible for the implementation and execution of Field- and retailer-facing promotion and incentive programs. The Parts Sales Program Manager drives parts sales business growth in collaboration with vendors to achieve revenue growth, customer retention, and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, establishes, and nurtures partnerships with third-party parts vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with Subaru’s business strategy, quality, and performance standards.
  • Acts as the main stakeholder and decision maker for all drop ship related activities.
  • Researches, develops, and oversees marketing, promotion, and incentive initiatives for Subaru Field staff and retailers.
  • Works with the Fixed Operations Marketing team to ensure effective communication of information and opportunities.
  • Works closely with the Parts Pricing department and has final approval rights for all pricing changes, ensuring strategic and mutually beneficial adjustments.
  • Initiates and fosters tactical interdepartmental partnerships with Supply Chain, Accessories, Warranty, Service, Export, etc., to improve results.
  • Assists parties responsible for part procurement in adding new individual parts and larger parts segments to the Subaru offering.
  • Maintains a productive relationship with Regional and Zone Field staff, disseminating important information and ensuring proper communication and action.
  • Manages and leads the Parts Sales department data analysts, providing clear expectations for timeliness, quality, and output, and setting/monitoring goals.
  • Manages Parts Sales intern training, performs progress and activity reviews, and aligns intern learning objectives with team and company goals.
  • Plans and prepares for vendor partner Quarterly Business Review meetings, Regional and Zone Field-level meetings, the National Training Conference (NTC), the National Business Conference (NBC), and the Aftersales Business Conference (ABC).
  • Contributes to executive meetings by delegating and managing the development of necessary presentation decks and relevant data reporting.
  • Manages other miscellaneous third-party business, projects, and reporting as requested.
