Job Summary Edits, analyzes, interprets, and services customer’s inquiries, correspondence, faxes, and telephone calls, varying broadly in nature and scope relative to parts order status such as; shipping dates, order changes, cancellations, product application, and request for quotations, literature, and catalogues. Job Description Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Corresponds with customers by phone, fax or email as the situation demands. Receives and interprets customer RFQ’s and coordinates internal resources to be able to respond to those RFQ’s. Finds cost and applies list price plus discount structure based upon customer account. Provides quotations with lead-time and pricing. Interfaces with diverse functional groups including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Engineering as needed to ensure on-time shipment and long-term customer satisfaction. Resolve customer product issues by directing to appropriate Nidec personnel.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong aptitude for working with systems including Oracle, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel.
  • Must be a US citizen for positions at the North Mankato facility.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Comparable sales experience is acceptable.
