About The Position

This position is responsible for handling incoming parts sales inquiries from customers and fulfilling parts order requests from start to finish. Communications with customers will occur electronically, but the majority of customer interaction will occur over the phone in a call center environment.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • 3+ years of exceptional customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of parts/technical experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP data management software a plus
  • Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle high volume of calls
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Windows 10, SharePoint, Office (Outlook, Word and Excel primarily)
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and with a sense of urgency, sometimes under stress
  • Must be able to continuously learn and improve knowledge of company products
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, and diagrams.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of parts/technical experience

Responsibilities

  • Handles incoming customer calls
  • Responds to part number requests
  • Provides all necessary pricing and availability information to customers
  • Executes prompt and accurate parts orders per customer inquiries
  • Initiates appropriate telephone and email follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provides customer with all necessary documentation as requested
  • Maintains accurate parts information in order to promptly respond to customer questions
  • Cooperates and communicates with customers, co-workers, supervisors and other departments within the company to continuously improve customer service
  • Compliance with all departmental and company-wide policies and procedures
  • Participates in developing and implementing improved departmental procedures and methods.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.
