About The Position

Fix-It 24/7 is a local HVAC and plumbing company with over 20 years serving the Charleston area. We support our technicians by keeping parts, equipment, and jobs moving smoothly every day. We’re hiring a Parts Runner to help pick up, deliver, stage, and organize HVAC parts and equipment. This job is hands-on, physical, and fast-paced. You’ll spend time driving, loading/unloading, organizing the warehouse, and supporting our technicians. If you like staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a solid team, this is for you.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle
• Organized, dependable, and on time
• Able to follow directions and work independently
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC, plumbing, warehouse, or parts runner experience
• Familiarity with tools and trade materials

Responsibilities

• Pick up HVAC parts and equipment from supply houses
• Double-check orders to make sure all parts are correct before leaving
• Deliver parts and equipment to job sites
• Load and unload materials (heavy lifting required)
• Stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming install jobs
• Restock unused parts returned by installers or return them for credit
• Organize and keep the warehouse clean and orderly
• Handle warranty part returns to supply houses
• Help keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and ready to go
• Help manage permits and vehicle passes when needed
• Watch dumpster use and keep disposal areas clean
• Receive deliveries and report missing or damaged items
