This role is responsible for maintaining inventory in the inventory tracking system and dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed. Key duties include performing usage analysis, keeping the parts room clean and orderly, identifying and monitoring parts flow by part numbers, and receiving all maintenance parts. The attendant must verify documents against actual item quantities received before system entry, report any variances to the Manager, and ensure all store item movements are correctly recorded daily. Applying the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) concept in stock management and stocking inventory in the parts room are also essential. The role involves printing documentation for inventory replenishment and requires knowledge of parts and tools used in the plant. The attendant must prioritize daily work with minimal supervision and perform other assigned duties. Essential physical functions include standing, sitting, bending, walking, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead frequently. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds individually or with assistance frequently throughout the shift. Maintenance inventory is critical for this role, and the attendant must be willing to be certified in pallet jack and forklift operation. The position is for the 2nd shift.
