Parts Room Attendant 4- Tecumseh, Ne- 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Parts Room Attendant oversees storeroom inventory control, including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items. The role supports other parts-room team members and helps ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. The attendant maintains inventory records in the system, organizes parts in designated bins, and sets appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels. The position also manages storeroom operations when the Supervisor is absent and performs other assigned tasks as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with occasional weekend work. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires no travel. Applicants must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not offered. Relocation assistance is not available. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months or more of experience in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and suppliers.
- Ability to read and write and perform basic math.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing 50 or more pounds.
- Must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not offered.
