About The Position
Ready to take ownership of a busy parts department and earn $9,000–$14,000 per month? Tuttle-Click's San Juan Capistrano Ford is looking for an experienced Parts Manager who knows how to drive performance, lead a team, control inventory, and deliver outstanding support to both our service department and customers. This is an opportunity for a proven automotive parts leader who understands that a great parts department is about more than inventory. It’s about having the right parts at the right time, building a strong team, maximizing gross profit, and keeping the entire dealership moving.
Requirements
- Previous automotive dealership parts experience required
- Parts management or significant parts department leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations, inventory management, and gross-profit performance
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with dealership management systems, inventory reporting, and performance metrics
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Parts Department team
- Manage daily parts operations to achieve sales, gross profit, and departmental performance goals
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels while controlling obsolescence and aging inventory
- Ensure parts are available to support Service Department productivity and customer needs
- Monitor pricing, margins, special orders, returns, and vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and oversee regular physical inventories
- Analyze department performance, expenses, sales trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Establish and maintain efficient processes for receiving, stocking, ordering, and distributing parts
- Deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers
- Work closely with Service and dealership leadership to improve overall fixed-operations performance
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional Parts Department

- Annual compensation between $108,000 and $168,000
- Bonus compensation may be earned based on individual or team performance
