This role involves preparing and administering an annual operating budget, maintaining a balanced inventory, and establishing pricing parameters to ensure profitability and customer loyalty. The Parts Manager also supervises stock order procedures, analyzes sales and expenses, and develops aggressive wholesale and retail parts programs. They ensure high-quality service for both internal and external customers, coordinate with other managers for timely parts turnaround, and hold regular department meetings. Additionally, this role involves analyzing and optimizing departmental operations, providing technical assistance, monitoring payroll, managing paperwork flow, directing shipping and receiving, and developing sales promotions. The Parts Manager is also responsible for enforcing safety requirements and staying compliant with relevant regulations.
