About The Position

Responsible for Parts Department Customer Satisfaction. Negotiates customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion. Develops and implements a marketing plan and operating budget, and regularly submits progress reports to the Store Manager. Coordinates activities and cooperates with other departments to best serve the customer and the Company. Acquire and maintain adequate and productive staff in Parts Department. Direct activities of each member of the Parts Department. Orders parts, issues purchase orders and completes regular parts returns. Conducts periodic physical inventory. Expedites and ensures accuracy of parts orders for customers and the service department. Monitors and controls inventory levels. Monitors and controls expenses. Promotes and merchandises parts and accessory lines. Responsible for shortages and shrinkage in the parts department.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the Lawn & Garden, Commercial, Turf and Farm industries and their parts needs.
  • Ability to conduct business in a profitable manner for all departments and the overall Company.
  • Leadership, tact, and knowledge to gain the respect and cooperation of customers and employees.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
