This position is responsible for maintaining a proper inventory of parts. The Parts Inventory Manager will order stock and non-stock parts needed for tractor and trailer repairs, maintain accurate inventory records, control inventory for forecasted needs, and manage the check-in, tagging, and stocking of parts. This role also involves sending and receiving shipments, unloading deliveries, processing paperwork, ordering replacement parts and new install kits, and managing daily tire inventory. Additionally, the position is responsible for FHWA inspection forms, decals, and tank test information. The Parts Inventory Manager will assist the lead technician with repair orders, order and bill parts to vendor repair facilities, ensure accurate pricing and invoicing, and maintain current SDS information. Responsibilities extend to assisting with equipment transport for repairs, building and yard maintenance, and negotiating pricing with outside vendors. The role also monitors and processes warranty recoverable items.
