About The Position
The Parts Inside Sales Representative I is responsible for supporting the sale of HVAC replacement parts and aftermarket products by providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, assisting customers with parts identification and selection. This position works closely with service technicians, contractors, facility personnel, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts solutions. The Parts Inside Sales Representative I is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and interested in developing technical knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and components.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret equipment model and serial number information.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Business, HVAC Technology, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, HVAC, distribution, warehouse operations, or related fields preferred.
- Basic understanding of HVAC equipment and replacement parts preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer-focused with a professional and responsive approach.
- Interest in HVAC systems and technical product knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support service and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers, service technicians, and contractors with HVAC parts inquiries, pricing, availability, and order placement.
- Identify replacement parts using equipment model numbers, serial numbers, manufacturer documentation, and parts catalogs.
- Prepare quotes and process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, warehouses, and internal teams to obtain pricing and availability information.
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory records within the ERP system.
- Assist with order tracking, shipment status updates, and customer communication.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock inquiries and parts availability verification.
- Develop knowledge of HVAC equipment, replacement parts, and manufacturer product offerings.
