About The Position
The Parts Driver at Arapahoe Hyundai selects, verifies, and delivers parts to customers and other dealerships within the local parts department’s market area. The role also supports order fulfillment, stocking, delivery paperwork, and coordination with parts department staff. This is a part-time position paying $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automotive parts or equivalent military experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping and receiving clerk before departing for pickups or deliveries.
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
- Verify that delivered parts match the invoice and that pickup invoices match the purchase order.
- Secure and unload the parts truck each night.
- Help stock and post incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
- Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and the delivery schedule.
