About The Position
Atlas Toyota Material Handling is hiring a full-time Parts Driver to support the Parts Department by safely and promptly delivering and picking up parts, supplies, and products. The role is an important point of contact among the parts department, service department, and customers, helping maintain effective communication and smooth daily operations. The position involves operating company vehicles, verifying and securing deliveries, completing delivery paperwork, and assisting with other parts department duties as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Forklift experience; forklift operator certification must be maintained.
Responsibilities
- Follow company safety policies and operating standards while driving company vehicles safely and professionally.
- Promptly report vehicle issues, damage, or necessary repairs to management.
- Attend required monthly vehicle and safety meetings.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized, and maintain required driver documentation in the vehicle.
- Ensure delivery drop locations have the required paperwork for field technicians and report discrepancies or other issues.
- Verify the accuracy of parts, supplies, and products before delivering them to customers, branch locations, or technicians.
- Immediately report delivery issues or discrepancies to management.
- Safely load and unload materials, using a forklift or other equipment as needed.
- Secure deliveries properly before transport.
- Obtain required customer signatures, complete delivery documentation accurately, and return it to the appropriate department.
- Assist with additional parts department duties as needed.
