About The Position

The Parts Driver delivers parts to customers and picks up parts from suppliers for the dealership. The role also supports warehouse operations, order processing, and timely delivery of parts to shop technicians and retail accounts. Duties may include other tasks or instructions requested by the employee’s leader.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months of experience in customer and delivery services.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set by the company’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check for last-minute pickups or deliveries before leaving.
• Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
• Verify that each pickup invoice matches its purchase order.
• Check payments received against invoices for each delivery.
• Maintain an accurate daily log of deliveries and pickups, and request the recipient’s signature for each delivery entry.
• Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help stock and post incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Assist in the warehouse as requested by leadership.
• Follow other instructions and perform other duties requested by the employee’s leader.
