About The Position
Capital Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Parts Driver to join their team. This is a full-time position with immediate hire. As part of the AutoCanada dealership network, the company is described as innovative, data-driven, and committed to its team members, customers, and operational excellence. The dealership environment is fast-paced and unpredictable. The Parts Driver will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to customers and service technicians, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
Requirements
- Some familiarity and/or experience with working in collision repair and/or Parts Department
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful
- High-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are essential for this role
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to customers, service technicians, or other locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure parts are accurately loaded and delivered to the correct locations.
- Provide customer service and assist with unloading or loading parts.
- Maintain an organized inventory and verify deliveries against orders.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Follow safety guidelines while driving and handling parts.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and assist with returns or damaged parts.
