About The Position

Arapahoe Hyundai, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive, is hiring a part-time Parts Driver. The role is responsible for selecting, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and other dealerships within the local parts departments’ general market area. The position pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience. Automotive parts experience or equivalent military experience is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Coordinate last-minute pickups and deliveries with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving.
• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
• Ensure delivered parts match the invoice and verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
• Secure and unload the parts truck each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and the delivery schedule.
