Part Time Parts Driver

About The Position

Beach Automotive is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented parts delivery driver to deliver automotive parts to local repair facilities. This is a part-time position working two days a week, with potential to fill in when needed. The role is in person and has an 8 a.m.–5 p.m. shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to lift more than 40 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder to pull parts.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick parts for orders using invoices or pick tickets.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles with the parts identified for customers.
• Deliver and pick up parts to and from customers, ensuring the accuracy of delivered items.
• Process customer returns and ensure the proper paperwork is provided.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good running condition, and notify management of damage or needed service.
• Maintain a professional appearance for oneself and the parts department.
• Communicate with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
