About The Position

Madison Honda is seeking a reliable and professional part-time Parts Driver. The role is responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. The driver coordinates with multiple departments to ensure deliveries are timely and accurate, maintains the delivery vehicle, and supports the parts and service teams as needed. The position is based in Madison, New Jersey, and starts at $16 per hour. Comprehensive training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to perform duties safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily pick-ups and deliveries with the parts manager, wholesale representatives, inventory control, and shipping staff.
Check with the body shop daily to determine immediate parts requirements.
Deliver parts promptly to the body shop and distribute them to the appropriate technicians.
Verify that invoices match purchase orders before pick-ups.
Confirm that payments received correspond with invoices during deliveries.
Maintain accurate logs of daily deliveries and pick-ups and obtain recipients’ signatures on delivery records.
Unload the delivery truck each evening and submit paperwork, undelivered parts, and returns.
Perform basic truck maintenance, including refueling, checking oil, cleaning, and ensuring required inspections are completed.
Report major delivery-truck repair or maintenance needs to the parts manager.
Assist in maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department.
Support the service department by managing customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups as needed.
Help stock and post orders to expedite delivery to technicians and wholesale accounts.
Follow company safety policies and report accidents immediately to a supervisor or manager.
