About The Position

The Automotive Parts Driver is responsible for safe, accurate, and timely delivery and pickup of automotive parts between dealership locations, wholesale customers, and vendors. The role supports daily Parts Department operations by ensuring inventory is delivered efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and representing the dealership professionally. This is a full-time position at the Kings Auto Mall location in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a Monday-Friday schedule. The role reports to the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles such as vans, small trucks, or similar vehicles.
• Knowledge of local routes and ability to navigate multiple locations efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Frequent driving and exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer or handheld device skills preferred.
• Prior automotive or parts department experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to dealership locations, collision centers, and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pick up parts, returns, cores, and supplies from vendors and other dealership locations.
• Verify parts against delivery invoices to ensure order accuracy.
• Load and unload parts safely, securing items to prevent damage.
• Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and required documentation.
• Communicate delivery status, delays, or discrepancies to the Parts Department.
• Assist with stocking, organizing, and inventory control as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, fueled, and in proper working order.
• Follow traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers and team members.
