About The Position

The Parts Driver selects, verifies, and delivers parts to customers and/or other dealerships within the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments. The role supports customers and associates with friendly, professional, and efficient service and helps maintain a prompt flow of paperwork and deliveries.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screens.
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automotive parts or equivalent military experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Coordinate with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping and receiving clerk before departing to confirm last-minute pickups or deliveries.
• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
• Confirm delivered parts match the invoice and verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
• Secure and unload the parts truck each night.
• Help stock and post incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and the delivery schedule.
