About The Position

The Parts Driver is responsible for selecting, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships within the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments. The role supports customers, associates, parts operations, shop technicians, wholesale accounts, and vendors through efficient deliveries, order handling, and paperwork coordination.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automotive parts or equivalent military experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Coordinate last-minute pickups and deliveries with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving.
• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
• Confirm delivered parts match the invoice and verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
• Secure the parts truck and unload it each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting incoming orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and the delivery schedule.
