The Parts Department Order Clerk is responsible for order entry, picking, packing, shipping parts, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1 - 2 years' previous experience in inventory or warehouse.
  • Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
  • Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process parts orders and maintain order records.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and shipping of parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare and generate weekly and monthly inventory and operational reports.
  • Assist in organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
  • Support audits as needed.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment while adhering to all incident and accident reporting procedures. Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives and Kaizen/5S protocols, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
