Parts Counterperson - CAT Dealership
About The Position
Wiese USA is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our parts department at our material handling equipment dealership in Tupelo, MS. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing, storing, inventorying, and issuing spare parts for industrial equipment. You will serve both external customers and our company's Service Technicians by providing a full range of replacement parts for forklifts and other industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and possess a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal communication skills. As a team member, you will uphold Wiese's vision, cultural values, and safety guidelines, prioritizing the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, crouch and twist
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inventory management strongly preferred
- 1-2 years related experience (construction equipment dealership, farm equipment dealership, etc.) strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude/background preferred
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and purchasing parts (sourcing without VINs)
- Consulting with customers in both a sales and advisory capacity and providing them with all needed parts
- Ensuring that all parts are fully stocked
- Keeping Service Technicians supplied with all necessary parts
- Conducting regular inventory counts
- Assuming responsibility for all duties related to shipping and receiving of parts
- Performing record management on a regular basis
- Handling all returns and warranty issues
