About The Position

Inland Truck & Equipment is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join their team in Kamloops, BC. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others
Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities
Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times
Must have valid Driver’s License
Forklift Certification or ability to attain certification

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary diploma or trade certification preferred
Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

Promote sale of parts and accessories to all customers: walk-in, telephone or internal technicians
Provide exceptional customer service to maximum customer satisfaction
Keep abreast of all new products and updates through continuous learning
Locate all parts as requested by customers and/or technicians
Prepare parts invoices and credit notes for all counter sales and issues parts for all work orders
Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock
Accurately document all shipping and receiving of parts
Maintain files and update parts related information on a regular basis
