About The Position

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by supporting parts inquiries, quotes, orders, pickups, and returns. The position involves using company systems and handheld technology to manage parts orders, inventory, and fulfillment activities. Key duties include receiving, stocking, picking, verifying, and staging parts accurately for timely order completion. The role also encompasses shipping and receiving duties, such as packaging, documentation, returns processing, and shipment coordination. Support for will-call operations includes assisting customers, verifying order accuracy, and prioritizing urgent requests. Quality checks on inventory, orders, packaging, and shipping documentation are essential. Additionally, the role involves assisting with hose room operations, including hose assembly, inventory management, customer support, and cross-training. Maintaining a safe and organized workplace, participating in training, inventory activities, and continuous improvement initiatives are also part of the responsibilities. The job requires regularly lifting, moving, and positioning equipment and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in parts operations, warehouse distribution, hose fabrication and customer service required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and accurately resolve discrepancies.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
