About The Position

Berman Subaru of Chicago is hiring a Parts Counter Sales Associate to help customers and service technicians identify and obtain the correct automotive parts and accessories. The role involves customer guidance on basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, inventory organization and order fulfillment, transactions and phone inquiries, and coordination with the service department. The associate also supports sales goals through product knowledge and customer service and maintains a clean, safe, organized workspace. The position is full-time in Chicago, Illinois (60641), with pay up to $29.00 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

Prior experience working with parts in a dealership setting is required.
Solid understanding of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and team members.
Comfort using inventory management systems, POS platforms, and basic retail math.
Strong organization and attention to detail, especially in stock control and order accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining professional.

Valid driver’s license is highly preferred.
