About The Position

Rydell Honda Nissan, a leading automotive retailer in North Dakota, is seeking qualified and flexible candidates to join their growing Parts team. The primary purpose of the Parts Counter Consultant is to quote and sell automotive parts to customers for Main Shop sales. This role is responsible for processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts to internal departments, such as PDQ (Oil & Lube) or the Main Shop.

Requirements

• Ability to collaborate, interpret and communicate information that is not always straightforward
• Must have an outgoing personality
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Valid driver's license
• Satisfactory driving record
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Quote, sell and process Service department automotive parts
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain current product knowledge in accordance with company standards
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Coordinate parts ordering and delivery process
• Notify Service Advisor when parts are available
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
