About The Position

Hanania Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Associate for Westside Hyundai in Jacksonville, Florida. The role helps customers and team members source automotive parts for maintenance and repairs. The associate provides customer service, shares information about parts and promotions, manages inventory and orders, processes transactions, and keeps counter areas and records organized. The position offers opportunities to learn about automotive parts and systems and develop sales skills through ongoing training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in vehicles and eagerness to learn about automotive parts and systems.
• Stay current with new products and industry updates.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work well with colleagues and customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and hair follicle drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate automotive parts while providing a friendly, professional experience.
• Share information about related parts, promotions, and current automotive trends.
• Respond to phone inquiries and provide price quotes and parts information.
• Review body shop estimates for accuracy in parts and pricing.
• Pull and fill orders from stock, maintain accurate inventory levels, and notify the parts manager of shortages.
• Locate out-of-stock parts and manage emergency orders; keep customers informed about special orders and deliveries.
• Process retail transactions, including payments, invoicing, and returns.
• Keep front and rear counter areas clean and organized, and maintain records for repair orders, invoices, and special orders.
