About The Position
Land Rover Nyack is looking for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in automotive parts, and wants to build a career in the automotive industry.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn — automotive experience is helpful but not required
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts or dealership experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians, service advisors, and retail customers with parts needs
- Identify, locate, and order automotive parts and accessories
- Research parts availability, pricing, and fitment
- Prepare and distribute parts for service and repair orders
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts
- Maintain accurate inventory and parts records
- Process parts invoices and returns
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Work closely with the Service and Parts departments to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts area
