About The Position

The Parts Coordinator maintains proper fleet inventory and supports Service Technicians by locating, delivering, and inventorying parts and supplies needed to keep company equipment operating in optimum condition. The role is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina, unless otherwise specified.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of mechanical parts.
• Ability to identify parts and their locations and control inventory.
• Computer knowledge.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Willingness to work overtime when requested and outside the normal work schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical parts and their locations.
• Control inventory and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Respond to calls from mechanics and determine the parts needed to complete repairs.
• Receive vendor inventory; identify, label, and stock items physically and in the computer.
• Assist in maintaining vehicle inventory.
• Physically unload parts and place them in the proper locations.
• Load and unload mechanic parts to and from service trucks.
• Follow Company safety rules and other Company policies.
