About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading Fleet Maintenance Company, is seeking an experienced Light/Medium Duty Parts Coordinator. This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for internal parts ordering. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with internal teammates and contribute to central purchasing goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly competitive market.
  • Prior success selling wholesale auto parts, particularly in the aftermarket industry, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of light/medium duty parts/vehicles.
  • Exceptional phone skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone; clear enunciation; exceptional listening skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2 are preferred.
  • Results-focused, producer, closer, committed to growth.
  • Experience with POS system is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel, is preferred.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives.
  • An outgoing and assertive personality with initiative, proactivity, a positive attitude, and a "can-do attitude" are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior success selling wholesale auto parts particularly in aftermarket industry preferred
  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2 preferred.
  • Experience with POS system a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with a set amount of clients and internal customers.
  • Work professionally and courteously with internal customers.
  • Become familiar with client vehicle assignments.
  • Locate difficult-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.
  • Accurately quote parts and input information into the management system.
  • Track lost sales.
  • Assist other parts coordinators as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
