Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Mechanical, or Technical studies required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a parts, warehouse, or customer service role (HVAC or mechanical industry experience preferred).
  • Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and other computer software.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs within a Warehouse environment.

  • Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails to assist customers with spare parts inquiries.
  • Prepare quotes, Order entry, Purchase orders and Invoices and assist with monthly reports.
  • Parts selection following customers' requests.
  • Meet Sales and Spare parts targets.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Keep ERP records up to date (customers, contact information etc.).
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Keeping current on new products and upgrading equipment, retrofits, and parts knowledge.
  • Learn our ERP system.
  • Maintain knowledge of our products and services.
  • Communicate regularly with head office and accounting to track customer billing.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Resolve and manage discrepancies with suppliers and customers.
  • Coordinate the logistics of importation of parts and stock orders.
  • Additional responsibilities may be given from time to time.
