About The Position

Sugar Foods operates food manufacturing, packaging, and distribution facilities to serve over 5,000 customers. The stability of our processes, and the consistency and quality of our products depends upon the proper functioning of our machines and equipment. Accurate inventory of parts, effective planning for purchasing and storage, and timely response for parts requests from personal is essential to our mission.

Requirements

• Read and write in English
• Effective communication skills
• Able to safely lift items up to 40 lbs
• Computer skills with data entry
• Proficient with data entry
• Previous knowledge and or experience
• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the USA
• High School graduate/GED
• 2 - 5 years experience working in parts room in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile physical and perpetual parts inventory levels.
• Accurate date recording.
• Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products.
• Maintain accurate files and logbooks.
• Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel.
• Issue parts from inventory to work orders.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Process warranty cores for return.
• Cycle counts of parts inventory.
• Review purchase orders and posting invoices.
• Restock Inventory
