PARTS CLERK-Safety Sensitive
About The Position
This position is responsible for ordering all parts from vendors within the region and maintaining contact with factory representatives to ensure timely receipt of parts orders. The role also involves maintaining the current status of all parts orders and may include secondary duties such as shipping and receiving parts, and preparing merchandise with missing parts for sale. Additionally, the Parts Clerk will process non-sellable items back to sellable status, assist other departments within the warehouse, and perform other duties as directed by management. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to learn proper scan gun procedures and care
- Basic computer knowledge to operate Storis
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling and safety procedures
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 30 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects
Responsibilities
- Ordering all parts of all entities from vendors within region
- Maintain contact with factory representatives ensuring that all parts orders are being received within allowable range of days
- Maintain current status of all parts orders
- Ship and receive parts via parcel services
- Pick, prep, store merchandise missing parts
- Process non-sellable items back to sellable status
- Assist any other departments within the warehouse
- Perform other duties as directed by management
