About The Position

The Parts Retail Associate helps retail customers and technicians purchase and obtain automotive parts and accessories. The role focuses on providing a friendly, timely, and exceptional customer experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. Success is measured by achieving parts sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and courteously assist technicians and retail customers.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers in a timely manner.
• Price parts and accessories accurately using the proper pricing source and transfer the information to the appropriate documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain a clean and orderly parts department.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets and customer satisfaction targets.
