About The Position

The Parts Associate supports retail customers and service technicians with automotive parts and accessories at Porsche & Bentley Newport Beach. The role is focused on providing a friendly, timely, and exceptional buying experience that builds customer loyalty to AutoNation. The associate also maintains inventory and department organization, handles pricing and sales documentation, and promotes products through merchandising displays. Success is measured by meeting parts sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and courteously assist technicians and retail customers.
• Obtain the correct parts and accessories for technicians and retail customers in a timely manner.
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and enter the information into the appropriate documents and computer system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Keep the parts department clean and orderly.
• Provide customers with needed information and offer additional sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
• Achieve parts sales targets.
• Achieve customer satisfaction targets.
